November-December 2006 Seminole Hard Rock Callahan Custom Chopper Give Away |
|
By Valerie Smith It all started on November 1st as Players Club members began receiving one free drawing entry for each of their visits to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. Joining the Players Club was as simple as signing your name and the lines to register seemed never ending on Sunday, November 19th, the day of the giveaway. The prize they sought was a custom-built motorcycle with a Hard Rock theme. It was designed and built by Callahan Custom Choppers of Clermont who were the winners of the recent Biker Build-Off hosted by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. That win got them an opportunity to show their stuff with this project and they surpassed everyone’s expectations by building a one-of-a-kind chopper with a 42-degree rake on the front end and a hefty 250 thread on the rear. The muscle was supplied by a 100 inch Rev Tec engine. The bike also had a 6 speed transmission with a 3-inch open BDL belt drive. All that power was built within an Accessories Unlimited frame. Completing the masterpiece, a Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino paint scheme incorporating the host’s colors covered the metal work. The emcee of the |
event was the lovely and talented “Wendy Bob” (Radical Randy’s Wife). She and the Radical Team did an excellent job with Randy (arriving after attending the run for Deputy Matt Williams) drawing the winning ticket for the chopper. The winner was Bennie of Seffner. Randy told the crowd that Bennie had been at every event the Casino held and was a deserving winner of the Callahan Hard Rock Casino Chopper. Along with the bike giveaway there was plenty else happening at this party. People enjoyed good food and cold Budweiser as they were entertained poolside by RedHawk. The day ended with the awarding of the bike show trophies and with some top winners receiving a free stay at the hotel. If you have not been to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino you owe yourself a visit. Visit their website at www.seminoleharkrock.com for more information.
